Sky Watch Season Arrives In SW Florida
Each year around late October SW Florida Sky Watchers start getting ready for this years season, you may ask why is there a season, that's what I plan to tell you in this article. Our story starts April 13th 2009 after having my first UFO Sighting in November 2008 I started researching into just what I had seen, and found a guy (David Ryals) online who lived close claiming to see UFOs every morning when he would get home from work at 5-5:30am. Me not thinking said call me next time you see one and I will run outside to try and confirm it, well that did not work well with a night owl like me so after a month or so of talking we decided to get together for a night time watch on April 13th2009.
I was hearing that he was seeing dozens of these craft everynight, and was not ready for what we seen that night. To my amazement we watch a total of 13 star like objects fly over, a few that did things that ruled out made made objects like changing direcrions fast, no noise, nothing. So the next week we did a watch a searched the internet for satellight trackers, that also track all space debre, crafts, along with any planets, or other ceslestrial objects. That night and all nights after that we continued to see object that did not match with tracking data, so I began to look for a UFO Researcher in the area, and was lucky to find Billy Cox a Paradigm Research Group member & writer for my local paper. We invited him out April 27th 2009 the following are from his article from the next day. ( Jamie guarantees a UFO pass tonight, the way a weatherman might guarantee a suntan if you lie on the beach at noon. He sees them all the time now. So does David.
At quarter past nine, David clicks his flashlight and aims it at about an 80-degree angle. “There!” he announces. “There it is.” It looks like an unblinking star, but it cruises in an easterly direction at a pretty good clip off the lip of the Big Dipper. Its speed is erratic; it appears to accelerate and brake without stopping. And there’s a slight wobble to its forward motion, almost as if employing a rudder to guide it through an upstream current. “Another one!” David says, swinging his beam to the right. From the wispy scuds of high clouds,a second white bead emerges along what initially looks to be a parallel flight path. But this one takes an east-southeast tack. Jamie tracks the first one with his lamp, and as it speeds off to the east, the thing gets brighter. David’s cell phone rings like a croaking frog. It’s his 14-year-old stepson, calling from their home in Venice, roughly seven miles away. The kid wants to know if Dad is watching the show, too. Dad says yeah, got it, thanks. Both objects dim and vanish within moments of each other. Then the sky returns to normal, like nothing happened.)
So now we had a well know researcher seeing these objects and confirming they were not any man made object publiclly know. We also started to learn sky watching tricks, and tips from TV Show like Paranormal State when they visited the Gilliland Ranch at Mount Adam's, plus we figured out why we see more from dark and the next 2 hr and 2 hr before sunrise, and that was because these objects whatever they are were so high up the sun was reflecting off them allowing us to see them. At that time we had a cheap camcorder and were not able to film them. But soon after all activity dropped of and summer arrived, and made it impossible to go out and sky watch because of bugs and humidity. After winning the 2009 International Sky Watch and filming over 150 unknown objects we now find ourself at the beginnning of cooler weather. This years International sky watch runs from November 6th-13th and you can find the group on Facebook. We have lots of new tools this years like a night vision scope although we can film with it, it helps us see whats up there and try to film it with the camcorder. There is a scope with a video output we have been saving for called Yukon Ranger 5x42 we hope to get it this season. October 3rd I seen an amazing craft as I was trying to focus the scope I seen a craft with five lights underneath it in a triangle shape. We hope this season will bring some new amazing footage
which will be posted on our youtube channel jamies941. So as our first cold front moves through the end of the first week of November we will be once again watching our skys for these amazing object. For more info visit www.skywatchers.info
