how I got a free digital video recorder
my new dvr
Some people may say that your just now getting a digital video recorder for the first time? And to that I will just say that all the people in the world don't have extra money for things like that.Is going to tell you how I got my dvr for free, and you might be able to also. What happened was,I had just basic cable until yesterday, and about three months ago comcast started telling their costumers that on September 9th if you did not have a digital converter that you would lose channels.See they were upgrading them to digital for a better picture. So on the 9th I lost about four channels, and one was my favorite, the history channel. This is how I got the dvr for free,I waited till my bill was due to grab the free converter they were giving their costumers
When I got to the comcast office I payed the bill, and asked if I could get the converter, she said they had none left, that they had three thousand, but they were already gone,so she gave me a dvr,and six months of digital cable for free.I was happy cause I knew stuff like that don't happen much.So I went from seventy channels to over five hundred. The dvr is in my opinion,is the best invention since the telephone.I can watch one show while recording another.I can also pause live TV,and fast forward throw commercials

Sweet! I just got my DVR for free also. I called Dish Network and complained that they were giving DVRs to new customers but the loyal customers like me had to buy them!!! Threatened to switch to Direct TV. They told me if I signed up for paperless billing I could get the DVR for free. I also got Cinemax free for a year and they waived the $5 monthly DVR charge. Call and complain. They want your business.
