TWO DOGS FIGHT TILL DEATH,VERY SAD

In my nighberhood everyone had been saying that a pit bull was lose,and was going after people and other dogs.I walked my dogs for two weeks with no problem,so I figured that I had nothing to worry about.So one morning I took my two dogs out,one was a little Yorkie,and the other a male pit bull.I had precious,shes the Yorkie off her lease and junior the pit on one,and we started off for our regular trip around the block.We did not even make it past my house,when I seen a pit bull,about one-hundred yards away running for us.I picked up my Yorkie and turned us around to try and make it back to the house.By the time we were in the driveway the pit had caught up to us.So I thought maybe if it was a girl pit they would get along.
As the pit ran up to us I could see he was a male.They both started sniffing each other,and my Yorkie started barking,and that's when it happened.As they started fighting I yelled for help cause I still had a dog in my arms,and I had to stop the fight.So my father came out,and I gave him precious,and started to try and get them apart.If you have never seen a pit bull fight, dont.It was shocking to me,I could not get them apart no matter what I did.I tried a hose,a stick beating the other dog,and everything I could,but id get one lose and the other one would not let go,so I waited for the cops cause a few people had called as soon as it started.When the cop arrived both dogs were in bad shape he had to shot the other dog with a stun gun three times to get him to let go.
The dog that was lose died shortly after and mine a month later.The owners of the pit went out and got another one,and a month later it got lose and almost killed an elderly lady.Is not saying that its the pit behind the attacks,but the stupid owner that train them to attack,and then let them get out of their yard.My pit,which was my brothers that id been watching for a couple months,was a great dog,and only protected me.

It doesn't sound that the owners trained the dog to attack, as they immediately got another dog and let it loose. It sounds like stupidity on the owners part, not training the dog to attack.

That's so sad to hear, i also had a pit bull attack my Boston Terrier once, like you i never blamed the breed but the owners. My cousin had actually gotten the dog which was a bout a year old, and she knew it came from people who bread fighting dogs. I now own a pit and still adore the breed, and speak out on behalf of pits. The thing to remember always is it's the owners not the dogs who are a fault.

Hello If you had a ccw permit and had you of been carrying a handgun on your person. You could of saved your dog the same way he lost his life for you . you could of shoot the other dog dead in secounds. Get a ccw permit
how did it take so long to die? im just asking because yesterday my two pits got into a fight and its not looking to good for one of them.
well my dog died later cause he would not eat so he was put down.

So sad. Pit bulls have a bad reputation and its such a shame because its the owners who are at fault, and it's the dogs who become the victims.
